Gloom
Some time ago as I sat at dawn over coffee one wintry morning, I was deeply troubled with a nagging concern. As the sun started to rise a tiny Chickadee flew up to my window and sat quietly looking at me as if to say he understood my gloom. I smiled in appreciation and began to feel better. It seemed he wanted to be sure because he stayed with me as if he had nothing more important to do. And I began to feel that everything would be alright.

Dear Roy,
I do hope the gloom has lifted somewhat now? I had to look up a chickadee in Wikipedia as I wasn't familiar with that bird, and was delighted to find it was one of my favourite birds a Tit. We have Blue Tits, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Tit) scouting around our garden at this time of the year looking for suitable nesting places! We have several boxes up hoping they'll choose one. They are a delight to listen to aren't they, and their dipping flight is pure joy.
Hoping the coming of Spring will soon lift your spirits my friend.
Love Angie
