Charles Dickens

Joseph Bottum, editor of First Things, says this : "Dickens "A Christmas Carol" is not just the first of our holiday publishing extravaganzas. Even after a century and a half, it's also the best. Not one of this year's 1044 Christmas entries can touch it."

In the final words of A Christmas Carol, of Ebenezer Scrooge "...and it was said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us! And so, as Tiny Tim observed, God Bless Us, Every One!"
